The one thing I don’t like about the design is the bezel, which I found very hard to grip. Seems like they went for appearance over ease of use here. This is fine since the majority of owners will never use the bezel as anything as a toy. But it should be more fun to play with, IMHO.
I have the red black bay and feel the bezel is very easy to grip and rotate..

To be fair my (UK) AD reckons September for the Tudor GMT... where it's already out... facepalm.

Not saying that it won't be delayed, only that ADs are not infallible.

I check with my UK AD who confirmed with Tudor UK that the 1st BB58 deliveries are expected to take place during July. I hope so as I don’t fancy waiting until September!

If it is released in July they have my money. I have another large purchase in August planned so wouldn’t buy one until Xmas time if it’s released after July

I was really excited about it until I realized that it didn't have date. The Ad in the mall told me that new Baselworld watches arrive around July.

Late to the party, but I'm interested! The bracelet model would make a great daily wearer for me (in house movt, 70hr reserve). This would replace a Seiko SARB033 as a DD, which thus far has been sadly very inaccurate.

Glad to hear it. I've read a few reviews that made the same observation but it could just be a lack of familiarity/dexterity on my part.

I have a medium-small wrist and am used to wearing watches like the Datejust 36 and Black Bay 36. I think the classic Black Bay is a beautiful watch but the few times I've tried it I just wasn't comfortable with the heft.

It's all good, though. There are plenty of nice watches around, and I'm sure lots of cool new ones in Tudor's future.

I got on the waitlist the day it dropped at Basel, and though my AD has "promised" me the first one, he's now saying August/Sept at the earliest.

I've heard whispers of productions delays with the new, downsized MT54 series. Probably why there's not an entire range of downsized models. IIRC it took a year or two for the MT56 (first used in the North Flag) to fan out to the rest of the line-up as well...

I've heard from two separate ADs that it's been pushed out to August/September at this point

I do like it but wish it did not have the gold markings on the bezel. Also wish it had lug holes and the rose. Also some red writing on face would be nice with less writing. I am going to buy one but am going to wait until next year to see if they improve it. I need it as close to a 6538 as possible as I'm banned from buying any more watches lol

It is rather large. I have small wrists as well - but the watch had sentimental value to me so had to have it as my first nice watch. Now figuring out custom shirts so I can fit it under my cuff

Too bad about the delays. I am holding out for when this comes out as I really want a sub 40mm diver with this classic look. As someone with a smaller size wrist, the 58 is a dream come true.

Just spoke to Ernest Jones to get some more info and they were told now end of July. Apparently their waiting list has 20 names on it! I said that's a long wait then and he said the GMTs have been coming in; in batches of 10! So they expect the same for the 58.

So shouldn't have to wait long if indeed you do want one.

The more pictures I see of this watch, the more I want it. Can’t wait to see it in person and I hope it’s not delayed till later in the year as stated in other threads.

As stated before...two quibbles / issues.

1. Round plots instead of square.

2. All these vintage cues...riveted bracelet, big old chamfers, raised crystal, matte dial...and no lug holes?

Is that 10 per branch? Can’t imagine that being true as that would be a lot of watches being stocked up! The AD I’m getting my BB58 from to date has only received 1 Tudor GMT, although admittedly they are a small independent unlike EJ.

The guy I spoke to was from EJ in the city - quite a new store in a prime location full of banks/trade floors etc and he said they got it in batches of 10.

Of course I take everything with a pinch of salt what an AD's says but this is Tudor and not Rolex.

I am going to the Tudor 2018 basel preview at a local AD on Thursday and they will be taking pre orders. Very excited to see the 58 in person and maybe put my name down for it.

Ask them about the delay. Many ADs now say September for delivery

I really wanted the 58 for the Summer but I hate to say it with the delays, I can't help but look at other alternatives in the price range e.g pre-owned Omegas etc.
