I applied loctite to the female threads with a toothpick. However, one screw next to the clasp is closed on one side. As far as I can tell, I'll have to apply the Loctite directly to the male threads of that one. Does that sound right?

I would use blue, not red lock-tite.. Red is more of a permanent solution.

Blue gets the job done.......Red is nasty and a sonofagun to loosen, if needed......
