Grrr. The latest scratch in my hulk bracelet was from working on the car. So I guess it wasn't safe for me.

Taking a dip in beer with your SubC.

Conclusion: Yes, it's safe.

Did you drink the beer afterward? That doesn't sound safe.

Two weeks ago my OP did beautifully during my skiing misadventure that led to broken leg. Oy...
So, skiing - safe for Rolex, sometimes not so much for the bones

Buddy Joe and his Daytona. 38 years in burning buildings. Runs like a swiss watch.

It's safe to wear your rolex to bring your car in for service (confirmed by both my wife and me)... Coincidentally is safe to wear a GMT on the plane.

Is it safe to wear a Rolex in Switzerland?

Here's a link to a thread about safety issues concerning wearing a Rolex while traveling in Switzerland-written in 2013-but, unfortunately, still applicable today(it also shows photographic proof that I made it out of Switzerland more or less in one
piece):

It is NOT safe to use wear a Submariner with a Lexan crystal to strip paint with paint remover. Some got on the crystal and began to dissolve it. Fortunately I caught it in time, rinsed it well and saved the crystal. It was still waterproof, but eventually replaced it.

It is not safe to wear you Rolex while wakeboarding. If your wrist hits the water right the clasp will be ripped open and off goes your watch to the bottom of the river. I speak from personal experience. To overcome this I will usually install duct tape around the clasp while doing water sports now and problem solved.

I'll Start: Having a few beers at Stone Brewery last night and I went to the restroom. I washed my hands and no towels!
I saw the air dry machines and thought, "Is It Safe" to use this machine while wearing a DD?

Conclusion: Yes, "It Is Safe!"
You are right
