Thoughts on this?

Personally I am not a particular fan of CW, for a large part because I hate the name. And this watch isn’t really my style.

But they are doing some interesting things.

And it’s great to see them using their own movement again.

The Bel Canto is what first got my attention. I’ve always kind of viewed CW as a brand you see in airplane magazines or on kickstarter; not sure why. I have yet to buy a CW, but this piece is very interesting. I love it!

I dig it. As close as I'll get to a Czapek. I think it's their thinnest watch with their movement. They were supposed to be working on V2 of the SH21, hopefully that still comes to fruition in a more compact size.

Looks good. Size and integrated bracelet should make it a winner for many. I would have to try it on to know how legible it is. A clear and legible skeleton is a work of art. Oris did a great job on the Propilot X Caliber 115.

Name doesn’t bother me. Better than a french name I can’t pronounce correctly.

Love the lume, fun! CW's new bracelet has two on-the-fly sizing adjustments by the clasp, just like Czapek.

I like everything about it except the price. At nearly 5 grand it's just too expensive for a CW watch.

I really loved the PPX but I thought they missed an opportunity to lume it up more. That pushed me to this Zelos instead.

I think CW are doing amazing things, and clearly looking to move upmarket.

I tried on a Twelve Ti, but found it too large for my liking on my noodle-like 17 cm wrist. It wears a lot bigger than my 40 mm 16610 because of the thinness of the bezel.

This new watch looks great, but at 41mm I already know it won't look right. I think 37 - 39 mm is my happy place.

That's pretty cool. I haven't had a chance to handle a Zelos before. What case material did you choose?

Thanks! Titanium. The tantalum 1 looked super cool. Zelos is the definition of all the usual cliches: punches above it's weight, bang for the buck etc. really great watches.

Is the bel canto too expensive as well, who else makes a skellie cheaper? Maurice lacroix maybe. I hear you it’s a price point not reached by them but I’d argue either is that caliber watch. I’ll know more how I feel in a month, got my balance bill for the BC.

Many Asian offerings, including tourbillon. But yeah, the CW is of higher quality.

The C1 Bel Canto does seem to me to be a far better deal imho, but that's my preference talkin'.

Got the chance to try it at the Windup watch fair.

Overall the movement is impressive, but it also makes the watch thicker which throw off the balance of the Twelve. The price at almost $5K is also a huge step up and hard to justify even with the skeletonize movement and Ti.
