Tudor Black Bay

Here is my first higher end watch. I purchased this watch earlier this week. I love it.

thank you.

The red one is actually more eye catching. For my first watch, I wanted something more conservative.

Indeed, but I think the dial color is slightly different and the hands and luminous material as well.

Nice one. Prefer the blue to the red bezel version. Be interested to see if they launch a black bezel version too.

Seen as this post has been resurrected, can you give us your thoughts having owned the watch now for about 3 months.

Are you loving it? or anything else?

Sorry for the late response.

The most noticeable feature of this watch while it is on my wrist is the weight. It's a bit heavier than my everyday Seiko that I wear. I like the feel of the extra heft.

I rarely wear suits anymore, but occasionally wear sport jackets. Most of my clothing is casual. The watch looks great whether I am dressing up or going more casual.

Out in public, people don't seem to notice it unless I am sitting at a table with friends. Awhile back I caught a friend of mine twisting his head to get a better view of the watch and its maker. Personally, I prefer the watch for its inherent understated look.

Had I purchased the red BB, I would be happy with it, but probably a bit more self-conscious of the watch.
