Sporty watch = 116500 white
Classy, refined and more formal = 126500 black

I've always preferred the black dial.

I couldn't decide between the two, and went ahead to get both. Added the white one after I got the black one.

I have owned both of the previous generation and thought both worked well. I am visually drawn to the white dial but found the black dial got a lot more wear.

I prefer the 115 in white and 126 in black.

I also have both Black and White of the 11 series. I wear the Black more and would choose Black for the 12 series first.

You could check the other 10 polls on here asking the same question.

on the previous reference (116500) I prefer the white dial.
on the newest reference, I prefer the black dial by a wide margin. I don't love what they did to the white dial on this newest reference. Of course, this is just my personal opinion and opinions are subjective. YMMV

Answer is both. If you are not satisfied owning, both versions in 11 series, you will not be happy owning just one in 12 series. Get both in 12 as well and once you have 4, sell 2 from them or keep all 4 based on your liking.

For me personally, the black by a mile. (So much so, that's the one I've got my name down for).

Yes!!

Before having seen this post above, the black was leading slightly and I voted for my preference (the black). Had I first seen your post, i would have voted for the white so you would *have* to buy both!

Black one for sure. While the white one is the more popular version, the black dial + the silver subdial rings gives off an extra bit of flash

I have ALWAYS been a black dial person, but somehow for this 12 series.. the white does pop more, and the black dial looks a tad too black.. I’m going back and forth with these too.. headache

The thinner sundials and hour markers allow the white or black in the back to be more prominent on the 126500s

For me, the black one looks better and slightly cleaner than the white.
