16610 prices after the introduction of Sub-c

Now with the introduction of the new Black Sub c with a MSRP higher than the 16610 original prices, will this affect prices of used 16610's? i.e. will this raise their prices accordingly (I am not talking about that it is becoming a vintage/discontinued watch but I assume that the benchmark now will be higher therefore this might take used prices up as well)

any idea what happend to the old TT Sub prices after the introduction of C's?

what are your views/experiences on this?

Judging by the 16610's on sales boards they haven't gone up yet in anticipation, once the final productions models have been sold then maybe. However imo not as much as the seadweller due to ratio of production, i.e there are more subs out there than sd's

The used markiet has not changed at all for the TT or Gold models..

As for the SS; used prices reflect demand and not what the price of a new one is............ If the new ceramic is in great demand, then the old one will drop in price, especially if the used market gets flooded with them...if there is a run for the older models, then the prices will rise...........

I doubt resale prices will change, or at least that has been my impression with regard to new v. old Datejust models. I do expect many will look to the new model Sub, considering how the world is so upgrade conscious; I do expect there will always be a loyal following with the original model.
