Is it better to deal directly with an RSC or bring to a local AD to send in? If RSC, which one is the best/fastest right now? I am in Florida.

I think it is always better to deal directly with the service facility. That way they can talk to you and not just the AD. If the watch gets scratched, if it went through the AD, there is no way to determine who is responsible.

Deal direct with RSC. What is the watch, what is the issue. That may help clarify which RSC.

I’m lucky in that I live about an hour from RSC Toronto, so I go direct.

If I didn’t live within comfortable driving distance, I’d use the AD and let them handle the shipping and coordinating

I just had two watches serviced in Dallas. Both were right at five weeks turnaround.

RSC. Sent my Sea Dweller to them. Very good process and they help with every step.
I don’t trust “ADs”. They are not Rolex so it’s hit or miss.
Had checked with two of them when I was still in Boston. Rude and not knowledgeable. Wouldn’t let them touch my watches.
One of the good things about Rolex is that they let you deal with their own repair and service centers (unlike Omega, who are all contractors and you’re back to hit or miss - at least here in the states; better in Europe).
