Poll: Nickname for Rolex GMT-Master II 126710GRNR
Yes, these nicknames are a bit over the top and maybe silly. I know some forum members love them and others love to hate them.
There are several floating around and thought it would fun to create a poll. Not sure this will be the end-all, be-all deciding point...just a place to capture sentiments. |

Coke Zero is the dumbest one yet. I’d prefer the Dark Knight. Or Bruce Wayne.

I think 126710GRNR or SS GRNR would be brilliant.

Do Patek or AP fanboys have the same discussions, or are new Rolex enthusiasts the only demographic keen to these nicknames? I don't wanna sound gate-keeperish, but I mentally draw the line at Coke, Pepsi, Smurf, Kermit. No "cookie monster," "ghost," "pikachu," "Bruce Wayne." This is getting hilariously out of hand.

Yes. It should be The Raider.
If not that, then Brittney Griner.

Poll: Nickname for Rolex GMT-Master II 126710GRNR
IN MY MIND It’s already the Coke Zero, so if Bruce Wayne wins out, I’ll be confused….

Would be interesting if there was a 5th option: "No Nickname".

Coke Zero looks like where its settling. I know a local collector who have given creative nicknames to other professional models:
The Sea-Dweller Deepsea Challenge: The "Meg", for Megalodon The new 18k Deepsea: Aquaman

I think MODS need to add " BAN OP " to the poll, which I am sure would be a clear winner.
All those nick names are stupid AF BTW. I been calling it the BLACK GMT or GRNR which is what it will be called. |
