Arleen and I love cruising. We've been on 5 or 6, but mostly on smaller ships. The smallest was 114 passengers, the largest carrying about 700. The smallest was a Renassaince Line (which is no longer in business). All the rest have been on Radisson Seven Seas. I think we have sailed all 5 of their ships. We've done the Caribbean, Southern Europe, Northern Europe (Baltic Sea), Alaska, and Polynesian Islands. The two best were the Alaska and Polynesian Islands cruises. On the Polynesian Islands cruise we spent more time in the water than on it. We also went parasailing - now that was a neat experience!
One of the best things about cruises is that it is like a hotel that moves from place to place. You get to your hotel room, unpack for the week, and each day you start off in a different city (or island). Cruises have been some of the best vacations we've had. I recommend them for anyone.
