New releases - register your interest now?
Is it already possible to register with a retailer for one of the newly released watches? If not, when will they open the "waiting list"? I would be interested in the new GMT Master II (like many others).

Due to Rolex only releasing one SS (GRNR) and with customers now turning down PM & TT watches at the AD this watch is going to be extremally popular.
My AD has already closed the expression of interest book on this watch, stating that this is the most requested watch following watches and wonders he can remember! Everybody loves a bit of steel |

Still plenty S/S to choose from though .. everything before W and W can be requested .. I’d much prefer all the other GMTs before the GRNR tbh …

in my experience there's only one game, and that's the LONG game
i don't think being 'first' on the list will make a jot of difference and any AD telling you the list is 'closed' is actually doing you a favour |

What is "register your interest" really suppose to mean?
You can advise your AD of the watches you'd like to purchase, but nothing's going to get registered on their end. If you're a well known loyal client they might make note of it, but nothing is official in this world. |

You are probably late to the party, but better late than never.

Today, tomorrow, in two months. It’s not going to change much. My guess is we’ll have to wait months for the first VVIP to get theirs. As usual the first few that get flipped will be around 3x price, then we will see them more and more.
One day they will arrive in the forum and it will be just like any other watch. |

I'm not ready to purchase for another three-ish years. I don't see a point in going in now. Whether you believe you're first on the "list" or somewhere in the middle, you'll get a call when you get a call... and if you don't, I'm sure Takuka/David/etc will have one for ya.

You're a week late mate, there were people waiting for ADs to open to "register" their interest in the new watches.

Register your interest, why not. To me, W&W 2024 was very disappointing.
