GMT CHNR “Root Beer” from AD after one week wait?

Yes!

I tried on watches last Saturday at the AD. and chose the watch I wanted. I told our SA (former neighbor and friend) which one I selected. In my first thread here, I asked if I had the cred to get a GMT CHNR “Root beer” in 3-6 months…or should I consider a grey market purchase?

I received good advice and appreciate the wisdom of the forum.

One week later, I have my watch. Woohoo!

Yep, the CHNR I ordered arrived 5 days later. Walked out with it right away and that was when it was released in 2018.

It’s a lovely piece.

Some haven’t been so lucky but generally they come in reasonably quick compared to some references.

I did not. I was not sure that it was relevant as she does not work on the watch side, per se. In retrospect, it probably helped quite a bit. I need to digest this purchase before going back to the well for the next one. 😀

chnr is by far the best tt reference. Some of the Daytonas are pretty good but not as good as the chnr. Congrats!!!

Congratulations. Great pick-up. Sometimes (just sometimes) things work out really well.

Download Tapatalk. I use it almost exclusively when I want to post a photo here on TRF, for which it is great.
