I love this thread, that sub is my favorite TT. I'll see if I can find a pic of mine after the motorcycle accident. I only chipped the crystal, the rest of me didn't fare so well. I'm still recovering over 4 years later. I had it serviced after I got out of the hospital so it's still pretty clean.

I think the 2 tone really looks better when worn. It blunts the excessive shine of the PCL, and looks better. I dont own any now, but owned a two-tone zenith daytona for many years and it was well worn and looked better with age.

Hmmm... I'm not sure how great two-tone watches look with loads of wear. It's like a guy who got drunk and slept on a park bench wearing a tuxedo will somehow look more the worse for wear next day than the guy who wore jeans and a t-shirt. Anyway, just a thought . . .

Sorry, but that is FUNNY. OP, love your TT Sub. I just got the new Explorer, my first two-tone, and can't wait to go exploring with it.

That's great man.. post some pix of your explorer wearing it in its natural habitat..

There are two kinds of people on this forum . Those who buy Rolex and try to keep as pristine as possible and try not to scratch and ding it ... Others are like me who wear the watch and enjoy..

Both these kind of people are right in their own way.

There are probably more than two kinds of people here.

Good for you..looks great.

For me personally, when it's time for a service, I'd have it polished and then start to beat it up all over again.

hard to tell any difference from a distance between a tt sub and tt sea dweller ,,, unless the bezel graduation are seen or the red lettering is seen....

they look almost the same.
