Cleaning Solutions

Can anyone please recommend a jewelry cleaning solution that is Rolex safe, particularly for the ceramic bezel models?

I am referring to the kind of solution that you can dunk your watch in, agitate it a bit to get the gunk in the crevices out and then rinse off.

Thanks for any advice offered!

I think with your collection that a new toothbrush is worth the investment!

Original Dawn + a soft brush is really hard to beat. Wrist Clean is great, but it's really not necessary, and in some cases Dawn would arguably be preferable to it.

Just plain old soap and water wash then rinse in clean water pat dry on any clean lint free cotton type cloth. That's all thats needed and what Rolex recommends themselves, no need for special sprays or special cloths. And seeing most Rolex watches today are made from one of the toughest metals made by man SS they dont need any special pampering.

Just an occasional wash with soap and water unless I’m in salt water and then it’s done much more thoroughly. I have found the most important thing is every few months removing the bracelet and putting it (bracelet only) in an ultrasonic cleaner. Even if the watch looks very clean the gunk that comes out in an ultrasonic cleaning is quite significant.

From a similar thread, I discovered this Dawn product, thanks to Mystro. Your dull looking watch will sparkle after a quick bath!!

I agree, but part of the fun (at least for me) is treating my beloved timepieces a little differently than the dishes. Its a psychological thing I guess. Cleaning my watches is an event, something I enjoy (from time to time but not more than twice/thrice annually). So I make it an event, using specific https://www.wristclean.com/ (it costs like 5 bucks…so not exactly breaking the bank), new microfiber cloths (maybe another 30-50 cents expenditure) and the time invested. I don’t subscribe to this concept that as a tool watch my actions are somehow overzealous. It’s just a component of ownership and collection gloating/appreciation, which could be why many of us create collections? But I do understand that we are all different, and some could care less while others are more finicky

My 2 cents
