Thanks! I’m leaning towards blue on bracelet, but will probably wait a couple of months to check them out in person. They really should throw in your choice of strap with a price break on the deployant clasp if you buy it on the bracelet at that price point.

Forecast when the SS will come? Will it also be available in the blue bezel/blue dial version?

BNIB blue on strap just auctioned for 11700 all in on moda. Don’t pay 18400 for these. I may be enticed to grab a black dial for 40% off. Much better value and great watch.

The new FF 5010 42 mm got already sold on Moda? That’s quick.

I think the new 5010 is attractive, but overpriced.

I predict it will struggle at MSRP and dealers will have to discount it to move.

It is possible Blancpain made a strategic error. If they priced it (the Ti version) between $10K-$12K (or even $15K) it would fly off the shelves and buzz and unobtainability would give this watch sought after momentum. Now it will be for looky lous until ADs get tired of holding stock and discounting it until it does sell. No Momentum...

The deep logo engraving on the non-crown side of the case is a turn off, and makes me think this watch is meant to appeal more to the Asian markets rather than the US and Europe.

At MSRP, the 5010 is not competition for the Sub. At a better price, its availability make it an option.

It isn’t trying to compete with the sub.

I guess the 5010 just isn’t giving anyone that feeling that they have to have the watch. I’ve only seen one person in another forum that bought the watch on the bracelet, the others only tried it on. I guess the price is too high for what is is compared to the 5015?

Tried it on at the boutique a few days ago. Looks great in the metal but I think it's overpriced and would rather wait for a potential stainless steel version.
