In general, IMO metal looks better.... but there are some very nice straps here.

Thanks for the photos! Some really great looking "alternatives" are out there. I've considered a NATO for my Sub, but looks like there are some other options for the GMT and Explorer II as well.

Great photos everyone
I think straps on Rolexes look awesome I just dropped my 1601 at the RSC today for an overhaul and ordered a nice black strap with a cool SS buckle for it through them. I thought I'd give the bracelet a break for a while. I'll post pics once I get it back, but that won't be until January 27th Keep the pictures coming guys.

Not a fan of sports models like the Sub on straps, but the gold Daytona and Datejust on leather look great!

These two suit a nice strap I reckon. I have also thought about getting an Ostrich strap to try on my white milgauss.

I think some of the straps look fine, but considering how much a Super Jubilee or 18K YG Oyster bracelet costs, it seems odd to replace it with a cheap cloth or leather strap. But that's just me.

Milgauss on leather!
Hi,
This is my first picture and post on this forum. I became curious of my Milgauss on a leather strap. I think it is a match in heaven. What do you think? This photo is taken by a Iphone.IMG_0171.jpg |

I think an oversized dive band balances the larger submariner case, Mike

This strap arrived today - a bit of adjustment, a quick flick of the Xacto to get it to slip thru the 401B TT end pieces and here it...wicked comfy.
I expect I'll wear it like this a lot.
