Bit late to this thread

I adore my LV-c. I will never sell it.

On the UK rolex forums it gets some stick, not many like it. Most prefer black bezel and most prefer the classic case shape too.

However for me, i could wear it everyday for the rest of my life. Every time i look at it i'm memorised by how stunning it looks.

I never chose green anything before, but this to me is a colour i associate with rolex. Sure rolex green is a deeper colour but the sunburst type dial takes on that hue even if the bezel is more mint in colour.

There is a slight colour clashing with certain shirts / jumpers but the watch is adorable and certainly stands out more than black to me.

I am lucky to have a coke/pepsi GMT to alternate with, occasional the DJ and shortly the blue TT sub.

I have yet to see how i feel about the TT sub but the green wins out over the very versatile and very good looking GMT M2 currently on coke

You might think in photos it looks too green but on your arm it is just another world.

Rolex only makes one Hulk for every 4 Black stainless Subs, so it is more limited. If you end up tiring of it, they will hold their value and you would be able to flip it easily.
Hi, may I find out from you, the first Green Sub started on which year?
And until now, how many Green versions are there? May you list out their model numbers, so I can read more about them.., before buying one. :)

Thank you :)

Hulk over Black sub! Most people who buy
The black sub C get bored with it! The black sub is also copied by other brands
Like Tag, Longines, Invicta, and even Seiko.

The Hulk is a standout iconic piece. Hard to copy and a little more rare!

I would go with the Hulk. That is what I did, I told my AD to call me when they get a black and blue gmt. A month later they called me to try it on side by side with the Hulk, and ended up going home with the Hulk.

Very subjective, I liked the Hulk very much, until I see the actual piece. The colour is some what like wasabi colour. Finally decided to bring home the common black. I personally named it the Black Knight.. Loving it, enjoy every moment of it... Bravo..!! ;) Cheers Hulks.

Wasabi? I thought it is much brighter than that.

It may due to the kind of lighting in that shop which I went to..
The black I bought, sometimes at certain lighting will appear like metallic grey on the bezel..

First thing is first..if it's the watch you've had on your bucket list...make sure YOU decide for yourself and take other opinions in, but not the ultimate deciding factor. I'd hate for you to go another route and then still have the Ultimate Hulk pounding in the back of your head..lol.

2nd I must ask... what about the Kermit?Everyone sees things differently, but the 16610LV will be forever my favorite Rolex ever made. The black dial with the olive green bezel... with a suit on. I feel like I'm Tony Stark walking around my office. Your thoughts/Opinions?

I have owned several nice Rolex's in my day but for one reason or another ending up selling them and regretting that!

The green sub interests me but I see so many for sale. Is there a problem in demand with this model or green rolex owners do you love them?

Thanks for the feedback!

The Hulk is great because you don't see as many around. I like the idea of having something unique on the wrist. Worst thing for me is spending $10k on a watch and seeing the exact same one on people's wrists all over town. You probably already decided already but, go hulk!!!

I wear my Hulk all the time. My GMT sits in a box now. The Green dial is amazing. Most of the time the dial looks black when looked at an angle. It only shows green when you're almost looking directly at it. Bluesy of the Hulk, they're both amazing pieces. I would possibly also go wit the Bluesy, but now that I have the Hulk, I can't let go of it.

I personally think it's the best looking Sub, but I'm also a fiend for anything green. If one loves green and they love the sub, then the Hulk is a perfect choice.

Biggums- congrats on the new TT blue Sub! Before I saw the post where you stated you bought one, I was going to suggest the batman GMTII or the TT blue Sub over the green, given your circumstances.

I have a friend that has the Hulk, and it's definately an eye-catching piece, but not more so (in my opinion) than the TT blue.

Enjoy your nice timepiece

I've always loved the Hulk, and it was my first foray into the world of "crown" when I picked one up in 2014. Too many people have a black sub, and the green dial and bezel in certain lights can look brighter or darker due to the finishing on the dial. I love the Hulk and it's one of my favorite watches. If you like wearing clothes with a splash of color, the Hulk is a great addition to your wardrobe.

Bought my first Rolex, a 114060, just last month. If or when I purchase my second, the Hulk will definitely be the one.
