They used an innovative metallization process to make it from what they said. It is highly intricate and really must be seen in person to fully comprehend.

Congratulations Ken.

What a truly amazing horological year you have had.

How about photo of the watches, that have joined your already stunning collection, so far this year?

Thanks Tony! I never do a group shot as I rarely have more than 1 out of the bank at the same time! Better in the bank safe than sorry!

Very wise Ken.

I have often considered using the facilities of a bank rather then a home safe.

But always been put off by having to keep going to the bank.
Plus I am not even sure whether by own branch has such things as safe deposit boxes!!!

Though from your stunning collection, I think that I wouldn't have to go into the bank very often, because the 5970R would be on my wrist for a great part of the time :)))

Tony for me only way as a safe is fine unless one has a home invasion and one is forced to open it. Also dangerous with family to keep valuables at home IMHO. For me the bank safe deposit box is in bank vault and if one gets in there then they earn them!

For me it is only a few minutes away and takes maybe 10 minutes all in all and they are used to seeing me but I do wear a few more than others and yes the 5970R gets most of wrist time along with the 5070J.

By the way I forgot to say that I was positive 100% that you would get a new piece before the new year, and a stunner like always, I just love the moon phase, probably the coolest one I've seen on any watch and I'm a real sucker for them

Still waiting for Ken to add one day a crappy addition, but don't know why I think we won't see it in our lifetime or the next

Is there a "crappy" Patek? I'm not a fan of two tone but still wouldn't call them crappy.
