Thoughts on this 5 digit Sea-Dweller?

I have been interested in a 5 digit Sub or SD and this one caught my eye. I don’t really care about box and papers but I am not certain what to look for in terms of overall condition, over polished, warning signs, etc. Any thoughts or feedback would be much appreciated!

Looks fine, I don't think it's overpolished. It's a nearly two-decade-old watch, so I'd not expect it to be minty fresh. I think it's maybe $1,000 too expensive, though.

It is over polished. The lugs are thin and the brushing on lugs is far from a Rolex factory finish. There are plenty of 16600s for sale you should find one in a better condition.

This one for example looks so much better!

Service card = polished. You can find a "NOS condition" for that price - unpolished, lightly worn.

I'm a big fan of 5 digit SD's . In this market there are better examples un polished full set close to if not that price . Good luck and you can get a great deal today .It's a true tool watch! Take your time !
