As a past retail salesperson, you try to sell what you have in stock if the customer is amicable and likes / loves it. Besides, we all know there's far more to mechanical timepieces than just Rolex, so this current situation is great and helps grow for the entire industry imho.
This is a true GREAT thing. Plus look at all the many truly talented independents who are now able to step away from typical conglomerates and go out on their own and suceed. Win - Win
