Fly Me To The Moon!

I had my eye on this Cellini Moonphase for years and finally pulled the trigger and cannot be any happier. My first Rolex in 7.5 years and it was worth the wait.

Admittedly, I don’t know much about dress watches and all my research said that I should go for PP, ALS, JLC for the price point and category. I’m happy to stick w/Rolex and in my opinion, aesthetically, very, very few dress watches can even come close. All the details and craftsmanship make this watch incredible!

Wonder how this watch will be looked upon in 10+ years.

How is the bubble back? That's the one thing I don't like about the old Cellini and like about the new 1908

Congrats! I owned this for awhile and loved it. Had a custom rubber strap made so could wear in the pool. Has 100m water resistance so why not!

I think in 10 years many will wonder why they didn’t get it. I’m was offered this shortly after discontinuation and thought about it a bit but passed. Enjoy.

Lovely watch. At that price point you have quite a few dress options as you have mentioned. It has the potential to be a future collectible for sure, for the reason that it’s not overly desired due to competition at that price point. But it offers so much. Being critical, I don’t like the bezel. The movement isn’t on par with others. But on the pros, Rolex reliability, WR, beautiful moon phase and one of very few pointer date Rolex watches.

Enjoy! If money was no object I would get one.

Gorgeous piece! I would love to see the moon phase come back to the 1908s, but I love this Cellini! Enjoy…

Congrats on your great looking Cellini. Nice to see something new on TRF other than the usual professional models. Enjoy and wear it in good health. Cheers!
