Just joined this forum and wanted to say hello. I see many names I recognize from elsewhere. I was wondering where everybody went.

Hey, Rob. Good to have you here. I would have welcomed you on Otto's tread, but since you started your own, I'll do it here.

BTW, did you ever sell the meteorite? God, did I ever hate to let that one go.

Wilkommen!

Rob,
Great to see you around! If my memory serves me, I think you kinda' dissappeared from that other site. Its good to hear from you again! I worry about you in the wacky world of North Eastern liberalism! Holding your own, I'm sure!

Welcome, Brent. Good to have you here. We need you to balance out the bastions of liberalism on this place. Now if we can only get Greg over here, too, I won't feel like I have you outnumbered.

Gun,
Had a little medical issue(s) for the past several months. Feeling better now, just have to catch up on all the back work.
Thanks for noticing though, nice to be missed. As to the "North Eastern Liberalism" I am surrounded but I will not surrender. I am considering evacuating to a more southern/western RED state.

Being from the "Northeast Liberal" area I have found that working hard has also proved a very effective way of "messing them up". Of course one could always resort to logic, but up here many consider logic a euphemism for discrimination.

Hi,
Just joined also, perhaps to discover a wee bit more about this chunk of steel at the bottom of my arm. I purchased it second hand for £1450.00 in 1998 and had it serviced by Rolex in UK who returned it identified as GENTS ST ROLEX OYSTER PERPETUAL DATE SUBMARINER CHRONO model number 16800 serial no 8572828.

How does this fit in the rarefied world of Rolex?
