126610ln + cash for hulk

I’m thinking about switching from my 41sub 126610 to a hulk 116610lv 2018-2020 Box and Papers but trying to understand how much I should be prepared to add on top with cash.

How much cash would you add on top for a 116610lv when trading in a 41sub steel B&P?

You will only get around 9 grand for your 126610ln if used and your looking at around 16 grand plus for the hulk depending on condition
I'm doing a similar trade selling a stickered full set unworn 2019, 116610ln and adding cash for a new unworn 116610lv I'm looking at adding 5000 pounds paying around 16k for a 2017 unworn hulk full set
I hope the price drops on hulks a but more soon

I think 18-20 Hulks are going for closer to 20k us. You need to be ready to add about 10 Gs.

I did the same last summer. I sold my original owner 2021 LN towards a clean 2019 Unpolished US AD full set Hulk and put $7400 if I recall.

20k for a hulk is WILD

If Rolex ever comes out w the green sunburst dial in the 41mm case the value of the hulk would plummet

I hope you aren’t saying 9k USD for a 12 series sub because if you are, then I respectfully disagree. If selling to a dealer, they’ll want to see at least a 10% return on a 10k watch (lower % when talking 6 figures and up) and knowing that most 126610ln B&P are trading for 11-12k right now, 9k is below what anyone should accept. Even more so to my point when doing consignment.

If you are accepting 9k for a 126610ln TRF, pls DM me and I’ll buy them and flip them myself

I'm from london England so I'm saying pounds mate so the price I said is correct for uk,sorry for some reason I assumed you were from uk

If your were selling to a uk grey dealer they would offer around 8 to 9 grand for a used 126610ln and around 10grand for the 126610lv mk1 it's crazy how low the prices have crashed,now if selling privately ebay( they take a big cut ) etc etc you could expect around 10 to 11 grand for the 126610ln used and around 11 to 12 grand for the 126610lv mk1
Now the mark 2 is selling for around 13grand grey dealers would give 12 grand for them and selling privately I would expect 12.5 to 13 grand to sell relatively fast

I'm selling a fully stickered unworn full set from uk ad 116610ln from 2018 for 11 grand that's what I've got it up for .now all the grey dealers offered me a measly 8 to 8.5 grand for it lol they said it's best to sell privately then buy the hulk instead of consignment or trading up to a hulk,I think I can get 11 for my black sub and I can get a unworn hulk for just over 16 so 8 need to add 5 grand

If you are in America then I'm sure the prices may be different than here so my post may be invalid in your case
I looked into selling on ebay but they would take around1500 pounds in fees so instead of 11 grand I would get 9400
For that price may aswell sell to a grey to avoid issues with scammers on ebay

That’s about how I see the numbers. Condition is really going to matter with what “Hulk” you are looking at as it really reflects on the price. Ultra pristine examples are getting rare.

Exactly as I was saying the usa prices are inline with our uk prices I'm paying 16200 pounds for an unworn hulk from 2017 that around 19 thousand us dollars
I dont think alot of guys here understand the market and how its changed and are expecting way more than 9 grand for a used sub date unless you sell it private where there will be zero fees
