Fantastic retro but modern Submariner. Love the jubilee option. Can’t wait until it’s offered in blue!

Looks nice, but not liking the thickness of 13.6 mm, or the 21 mm lug width. Also the lug to lug is 50 and the diameter is 41. So, looks cool, but a bit big for my wrist. I’ll stick with my BB58.

3rd generation Black Bay has significantly improved design architecture over the previous generations.

The black bezel and simple white gold hands/ hour markers is quite plain for me but I understand simplicity is an appealing aesthetic to others.

The stated 13.6 mm thickness includes the dome crystal. The height of the case is a much sleeker 12mm per actual owners who measured case height sans crystal with calipers.

I found it too thick for my liking. I also think the crown is too big.

I am yet to see one on a jubilee yet though and am keen to try.

I think it's a great watch, that looks slightly too big for you going by your wristshot.

I'm loving this new offering, I just wish Tudor gave the people what they wanted and released this is a 39mm already.

Tried this on at Changi Airport, still avail for sale. (I work there, they only sell Tudor & Rolex to Passengers - Rolex instructions to AD)

I was wearing my Tudor Pro.

1) Wears small, shockingly well compared to Tudor Pro

2) Watch thickness is very different, coming from a Tudor Pro perspective

3) Dial size, although 41mm was very similar to the Tudor Pro

If given a choice, I would take the new BB 41 Monochrome in Oyster or 5 link over the Tudor Pro.

I like it on the Jubilee, but would have preferred a flat crystal and thinner rehaut.

I like it to the point I’m thinking of selling my Rolex 14060 to get one for the following reasons:

Domed, AR coated crystal
Better clasp adjustability
Bigger than the 14060 yet smaller wearing than a six series Sub

IMHO with the rubber strap it would be the perfect daily beater/beach/travel watch, under the radar yet still having some Rolex/Tudor DNA.

Some complain about the 13.6 mm thickness but I don’t recall many complaints about the five digit Sea Dweller 15 mm thickness.

Only downside is only 200 meter water resistance.

All good reasons. But the Tudor boxed sapphire crystal is sublime. The smooth rounded edge catches the light and it has the glow & luster of vintage flex w/ the real world protection of sapphire.

I got to handle this new model at my AD and it is very nice. It is smaller than the 1st and 2nd edition versions and if you are looking for a smaller profile this is the one. The price, not my favorite, but all things get more expensive with time and improvements. When I got into watches in the early 90's I wish Tudor had have been on the scene like they are now. It would have probably stopped me from going down the Rolex rabbit hole so deep.

I think it looks great from pics, excited to see one in person sometime. Thickness and how it sits on the wrist is what I want to get a better feel for.

Love the Jubilee bracelet and T-Fit clasp, both look fantastic. Bezel and crown changes look great too, really like both over the previous gen. Tudor does great domed sapphire crystals, gives a nice vintage feel. Glad they went monochrome, the BB line needed a true basic black diver option without the gilt.

If I didn't have my 126610 I'd likely be buying one. Even with my 126610 I kinda still want one.

An improvement over first-generation, but I still can't get on board with snowflake hour hand + round hour markers. The Pelagos is the only modern Tudor watch to get it "right."

I didn't even have the new BB41 in my radar. I was purchasing a Cartier at the local AD and the manager showed me a "fresh new arrival" from the courier. It's amazing in its simplicity. I still added it to the purchase even though I already have the Sub ND, Sub Date, SD43, and the BB58. Pluses for the METAS certification, 5-Link bracelet, and the T-Fit clasp.

Nice, interestingly my husband and I each got the white dial Santos just before getting his BB41. Both nice. Feel like the Cartier is so much nicer. But it should be at the price difference.

Here is my purely personal opinion: I saw it in the flesh and the watch has three problems, i.e. its three bracelets: Jubilee is too dressy, if it were fully brushed it could be ok but not with the PCL’s, the bracelet is dressier than the watch itself, it appears aesthetically incoherent.
Oyster has the faux rivets which i literally loathe, and rubber is not for me because I do not like the looks of rubber combined with steel endlinks. Now on an Isofrane that’d be a different story perhaps.
It would be close to perfect, if it had the same bracelet style as the Ranger’s.

However, in my case, if it wasn't in the 5-Link (Jubilee) I am almost positive I would have passed on the opportunity.
