Did Crown & Caliber just blow up the watch market.

Just dropped a 25% off coupon. Pepsi GMTs for 14-15k

5712a for $88k

This is not good for the market if you are setting on a prized price and looking to sell.

Code is ICYMI25. Takes 25% off the total.

If this is real, it’s great for the market.

I’m much more concerned about the buying and supply side than I am about sellers. And I consider quite a few sellers friends.

But most of them have made out quite well due to the last few years. And they are smart, they either prepared for this, or must have figured they would eventually take some hits.

It doesn’t work, says only one promo per watch and they applied a $250 off so that’s the savings in seeing on a sky dweller and a OP 41 coral red.

Nothing there that looks like a bargain. Limited selection many without papers or priced in line with market after discount

Prices appear to be super inflated to begin with.

If the 25% is applied, it’ll simply take it down to todays market prices. At least based on the few watches I had checked.

Certain watches on their site have the $250 discount and that’s it. I did just add a 2021 126710 BLNR to my cart and tried the code listed in the OP and it knocked $5500 off the price! This could be great for the secondary market prices

All I got on a GMT II Pepsi was $250 off, not the 25%. Click bate?

If you click shop>clearance, the watches that are discounted will show up. Nothing spectacular IMO.

There’s a 2008 16610lv full set for $14,700. That’s lowest I’ve seen on that model in a long time

Or a 5711 white for $90,675. Weren’t these at $175k earlier this year?

Not click bait, you have to use it on the select watches in the link huncho posted above.

Order confirmed on a BLRO new on Jubilee, box and papers for $15,283.13 total including tax. That is lower than the market in my opinion.

Most likely they were financing their inventory at a floating interest rate. This is one vendor generating cash based on personal circumstances, not a market price reset

I just tried a Gmt II Pepsi on Oyster watch and box only 18,200 down to $13,650. Not bad all things considered right?

Congratulations

I’m assuming from the way you wrote this that you bought it?

If I were looking for one I'd feel comfortable paying that price. Much more reasonable then where prices have been the last few years.

Yeah me to or use that as leverage with another seller

Hell you could pay $800 for a Rolex service and have around 14,400 in it with box, watch, and now "card"

Not the greatest idea or price in the world but not bad all things considered if you cant ever land one via an A D

I'll be honest, I've checked there website looking for deals but thankfully I'm just not chasing/wanting anything right now. Oh, well maybe a White 216570 (didnt check) or a 116600 (didnt have any)

If I found what I call a deal and was actually wanting something I would

But atm I've got some that I dont even wear/have more than enough. So it would have to be one hell of a deal and most importantly a watch I want

he's a troll, replies "who?" in a thread about Verlander wearing a rolex then makes a thread 30 mins later with a photo of Roman Sharf at the WS. ironically Verlander is a celeb athlete and Roman is relatively unknown

This is the worst form of trolling. Because it’s not funny or amusing at all, and is just intended to make good faith participants in the discussion feel like idiots. Its spirit animal is replying with confused emojis.
