Ask if they will accept a letter from Rolex. If your watch is under warranty Rolex will give you a letter essentially saying the watch is real and then they will put the dollar amount of the watch. Not quite an appraisal but it might work. It worked. Jewelers mutual accepted it for mine.

Actually I'm looking at using Jewelers mutual. They are the reason I want the appraisal in the first place.
Could you please provide more info about the process?
