Ap 15400 ro
Just cant decide what color dial to get. I know everyone will ask what else do I have but I think each piece should stand on its own.
What do you guys think is the to die for dial? |

Blue is the new black
For me the blue on the 15400 is even nicer than on the 15202. But blue is more of casual and sporty look. I love mine. And now is very hard to find. Boutique only color so that's my vote. Anyway you can't go wrong whichever dial you choose. Such lovely piece by AP.

I voted blue, but I have a black arriving shortly. Got to live with what we can get in Oz.

White. The dial shifts colors from silver to pearl to a creamy-beige off white depending on how the light hits it. It also brings out the beautiful dial pattern more than the other dial colors...

So I chose white.
The reason I purchased it over the black and the blue is that light is reflected so perfectly... It even takes on the colors of its surroundings. Blue is interesting because it's boutique only... But that's not a reason for me to get it. |

"Silver " for me.... Or is it white? Wait, it's both... love the effect how light gives it a different look.....can't go wrong with any colour.

I think for a 15202 Blue is a no brainer. But for the 15400,i t depends of what you have on your stable, I would give myself more flexibility.
15400 Silver, because I don't have that 15202 Blue, because is a must and looks gorgeous

for the 15400 i'd go for the blue anyday... a Hot piece and super hard to find around..
yes i do agree the 15400 blue is even better than the 15202.. my 2nd choice would be a black dial.. im not much of a white dial person as i find it hard to match with outfits..

Black is very subtle but beautiful - dial changes from charcoal gray to deep black depending on the light, and the hands and hour markers sparkle like no other watch in my stable.

Wow. Cant believe how polarized the opinions are. All interesting and great to hear. I have discussed with 3 retailers who claim the black is the one most sought after after the blue. But all three are great, still can't decide.

I've also been thinking about this. I like white faced watches, but find AP's white/silver dial rather flashy. I've been and tried them all a number of times now... the black dial is as fascinating, changeable, reflective as the white....just in a subtler way. Most photographs really don't do it justice. (BTW, the blue is not for me).
I find this pic (which is not mine) to be pretty accurate...

AP does a great blue. Not too flashy at all, and looks black to my eyes in a lot of lighting.

Blue for a touch more formal, white for more sporty...depends on your lifestyle.
Either way great choice! |

blue - as majority agrees is the best color and hardest to find.. black - young, versatile and more masculine white - indeed nice but more for the older age bracket.. (just my opinion) *try looking around and seeing the age bracket wearing darker faced dials vs. white / silver.. you'll paint the picture im trying to portray
