24 Hour At LeMans Classic [so are the watches]. If you look closely you can spot a nato and Tudor chrono.

I had read somewhere that only when the show first started were they using a fake vehicle and a fake chronograph. Once the show grew in popularity things changed quickly. The presidential Johnson wore later was real, and it was his own Rolex.

That’s an unusual pic. He normally wore a yellow gold Ebel Chrono on the show which is sadly why I did the same. On a similar note, I also shedded socks for most of the 80s for the very same reason.
