Lovin' straps!

Here's the new Di-Modell "Carbonio" (stupid name I know)

I LOVE this strap. It's comfortable!! Got a new deployant too and I actually like this one.

Here's the Explorer wearing the old carbon strap. Gives it a bit of mil look, I think.

That first one is super nice pal!! I love the contrast, I just took off my DON carbon black with white.

I put on the rubber comfort and I quickly remember how under rated this baby is.

Yeah those rubber straps are nice! I've got another Di-Modell carbon coming next week for the explorer. I like the pattern and the contrasting stitch. It's a helluva well made carbon strap

Did you get it from your regular guy? What about the deployment? Do tell please.

Yep from Bob. The deployant is something new he got in. It's not the one he calls his premium OEM clasp. It's not on his website, but in his ads. I like it better. Just because it feels better to me and the push buttons don't dig me, but that could be the strap fitting better too. He thinks the closing mechanism is better on this one, but the finish is better on the other one. LOL, I dunno, but I do like this one better. I've got a single fold coming next week to try out.

Who knows, I may learn to love deployants afterall

Brucey, do me a favor and PM me his email and exactly what those two products are. I think I found what we were talking about as an alternative for the UN.

Thanks Shane, it's taking a bit to break in, but it looks so cool!

Bruce get one like this for your GMT and you won't regret it.

Carbon Straps

Hey guys:

I can't seem to find anyone selling these straps in Australia. eBay has some guy in NC but he won't sell out of CONUS

Anybody please recommend a dealer where I can gate a Di-Modell Carbonio Sport or similar from?

Much obliged

Steve

Steve, I believe Bruce got his at www.mywatchmaker.net and the owner there is a really good guy.

I got mine at www.watchprince.com. I've bought two straps from them and their service is outstanding (as are their prices).

Bruce actually steered me to both places and the butterfly deployment I have (via Bruce) is from mywatchmaker. Apparently he sources them from the company that manufactures the deployments for Glashutte Original.

I don't know. I've been looking at those strap pics, but I have to say IMO they just don't look right on those Rolexes. There's just something that seems off about them. I know I have a TT DJ on a black strap, and I like the way it looks, but I much prefer the bracelets

Sorry, just MHO.
