...today is her surgery, although she was in great pain last night so they had to admit her. She was in good spirits though and just ready to get the operation done and on to the next step. I will let you all know later how everything went in the operation. Thanks for all the good thoughts guys, please keep them coming!!

Daren, I hope the surgery has gone well. I feel so bad that she's having to go through this, but I hope she can get it behind her as quickly as possible.

I've never been in such a situation, but in one respect it's like going back to school to get a degree... It can seem unbearable, and like it will never be over, but once it's behind you you move on, stronger than before.

I wish her the very best.

Guys I just spoke to Denise and she is feeling ill from the surgery but overall pretty good. The doctors seemed to think that they got the main tumor and another smaller one.

The good news is that the initial signs were that the surrounding areas were "clean" but we will know for sure on Monday. If they are, the chemo road will be much shorter for her. I am really relieved and glad to have you guys as an outlet, THANK YOU TO ONE AND ALL FOR THE THOUGHTS!! It is not over yet, but we are one step in the right direction closer, for sure!!
