received a invitation email this morning so thought i'd check it out, it's a big world out there but a small rolex enthusiasts, some familiar names ,some new, some i'd wondered where'd they gone, i see them here! >>>>hi gents all !!

now by way of an interesting IMO post, any gents fondly reminisce the days before "the addication" when you had just your one treasured timepiece, live was simple, no complication, no decisions on which one to wear, guilt for those on the winder im sure you know the thoughts, for those that still have only the one! it's like your schooldays, the best days of your life.i can't rationalise or justify any other purchases but that short period of choosing then getting a new watch is like any other high im sure "My name is Steve I am a addict"

cheers all

Welcome Steve - read the threads by JJ on selling his PO and you will see how bad it can get! I'm sure his wife wishes for those simple days, even he doesn't......

Steve, what is up my man!! I am guilty of having multiple brands addiction, it is the worst type of watch sickness. LOL!!

Welcome to TRF and nice to see you over here. Please stick around and jump right in the middle of the fun pal.

I wish to confess!!!!

avalon, just read jj PO experience!!! and wish to confess at the risk of what may be forum ridicule, im actually considering the PO as my next purchase "45mm orange bezal/orange strap!!! but maybe not, i could take the "safe" black on a bracelet option but that would be a cop out no????, maybe i should keep my somewhat "just wrong" thoughts to a strictly omega
forum LOL!!

cheers

Let me add my welcome to TRF, Steve. Looks like you've already been perusing some of the more interesting threads here. Feel free to chime in anytime on any thoughts (within reason, of course). Oh, and as for the PO, if you get it, you can post as many pictures of a black bezel version that you want. But post one picture of a Pumpkin and it could get you banned for life.

Hi Steve and welcome to our growing group of watch nuts. I'm too old to remember how it was.

I think it might have been Mamas, actually. I remember a post where I called it the halloween watch and I think Mamas came back with pumpkin. I could be wrong...

Sane and Dutch. An oxymoron if there ever was one.

You were lucky indeed!! Ask Adrian(Uncle AJ) about time on waitlists.

And to answer your other question, it is a tie between Pam and Rolex. I feel like I will have both in my collection. The YM only gets maybe one day a week, but it knows it is secure in the watch family.
