[Re]master02?
I'd bring back a pre-serial calendar watch, with the new QP caliber. Probably the coolest thing they can do for the 150th so might have to wait for next year.

Prior to ~1950 AP didn't serialize production, basically every piece prior to this point was a piece unique with slight variations.
Prior to 1950 there was an estimated ~200 calendar watches made with only 11 of them being perpetual calendars. Them re-releasing a classic perpetual for the 150th would be so cool.

An Eras tour of watches would be really cool. Going back to 1875 remaster a watch of that era.

Last Hurrah for the old QP movement, apparently. Nice, but will be a challenge to get (and $180k...).

This one is very nice - the sand gold is quite subtle (vs AP yellow or pink gold) and I prefer the contrast between the various materials to the very monochromatic stainless steel version.

Some cool pieces....the lack of ROO releases is disappointing. I don't understand how we cannot have a ghost yet? It is an iconic color scheme.
Someone has to ask...are they done for the year? |

Looking through the releases - quite underwhelmed - the JM QP and the sand gold openworked will be ungettable.
Struggling to actually find something I'd like - the red dial tourbillon is beautiful but again probably very difficult to get allocated |

I totally agree. Can't even buy even with money. This goes to show that they are really about being prestige than growth from the brand direction information

They are different than Tudor and Rolex. And that should be ok. Cheapest AP is what...$28K? What is the cheapest Patek or VC? |

Look. I'm not mad. That's how it is. Just stating the facts. If everyone can get one I wouldn't want it. I guess what I meant was the retail is already pretty high a lot of people can't swing it even given the chance to buy those pieces

Love that John Mayer perpetual... hopefully it doesn't have his name on it.

They missed big time with time only ROO. That watch needed to be in new 41mm case. And 27k for a rubber bezel is insane..

Not sure about needing to be 41mm, I quite like the 43mm size. But I was convinced this was coming with a blue ceramic bezel (i.e., as a time-only version of the blue dial/bezel 43mm ROO chrono). The rubber coated bezel takes this out of the running for me.

My thoughts exactly. Even a 42mm ROO time only I will be game. But just not the rubber bezel again. At least steal bezel.
