Incoming !!

Today is the day after a 16 month wait I’m finally heading to the AD to pick up a Submariner date, to say I’m excited would be an understatement I’ve been awake since 3:30am
This one means a lot as my first Rolex was a submariner no date pre ceramic many years ago and unfortunately had to let that one go a couple of years into ownership so 12 years later I’m I’m lucky enough to be getting a replacement and can’t wait I’ll add some pictures later

Congrats!

Out of interest- do you have any purchase history with your AD where you are getting this watch from and is it a 'big' chain or a small local AD?

Congrats on your new Submariner. When I think Rolex, the Sub is the first watch to come to mind as it is such a classic. Look forward to your wrist pics. Enjoy and wear it in good health. Cheers!

Thanks Carl for the lovely message, it’s been a fantastic day to be honest I don’t think it’s sunken in fully yet that I’ve actually got it,
It’s been so long coming

I had no history took me 11 months. Small local jewerly store/AD. Turned down a 40mm Explorer that they offered me.

Nice one, Mark! And you did right getting your Submariner date from an AD (versus some grey market scalper), even if you had to wait a bit! I wish you years of pleasure in wearing it, you´ll never regret it. Cheers, Ian.
