I'm with daunwaun ... the font on the dial, protective shoulders on the case, crown logo on the dial, all give away that it's a fake ... plus the date doesn't look right ....

Yes i am going too come back online. I purchased this rolex at a local auction 2 years ago it had some aftermarket fixes but ITS NOT Fake as a matter of fact if you didn't read it just came from the service center for lube and a buff the problem with with people who say ive done my research ive read 10,000 pages and know it all. I had a genuine daytona that was in a fire bought at a local auction was completely overhauled with after market parts casing band ect and no local dealer would pass it i had too send it off too a service center for the OK my advice would be too find something better to do with your time then too try and act like a virtual rolex professional watch maker. I Could say your crown looks a little fuzzy its a definite fake! come on!? This thread should be closed anyway as its useless and as a matter of fact being disrespectful calling this timepiece fake should be enough too close this thread.

First of all anyone can say "i sent it off and got the works done at rolex" YOUR A FRAUD!!!

take a photo of the reciept and paper work from rolex showing it went for service!! take some other pics of the watch!!!

let me tell you something, nothing about the crown gaurds was out of focus, they are extremely large. If you bought that watch at a local auction you got scammed!!!!! but to try and pass it off as real here now you have crossed the line...

Take your fake rolexs subs 12 or 8 or w/e and head on over to the fake rolex websites and forums

Ive been dealing with rolex's for years buddy maybe you should hit the books some more you might be able too spot a few other genuine rolex fakes huh? this thread is a complete drama pile and im done with it. Starting now.

Just from your anger here and defensiveness I question you even more.

All DW was asking for you to maintain your reputation and standing here as a member was to show a simple piece of paper to show authenticity of a watch you are using this forum to sell...

Well the average 12 year old can spell "to waste". So you must be about 7 years old.

Looks bad for you honestly.

I'm a college teacher and this is not the writing of a mature adult with 12 Rolex subs.

too vs. to....an elementary error made over and over again. Run on sentences, sentence fragments, your vs. you're...loads of spelling errors....

I'd give you an F.

For faker.

Buh, bye.

When you scam someone out of 4200 dollars some one has to!!

Good comeback, But he is right about how all the threads add up. The evidence is compelling. I am no expert nor claim to be. If it smells fishy, it usually is a fish or its been in the ocean with fish. No disrespect

There seems to be more than enough here to cast a reasonable doubt on the watch. However, if its real you should man up and show evidence to defend yourself! Just that accusation would cause me to react far, far more convincingly. At the least, you should postpone collecting on the sale, for the sake of the buyer! All daunwan asked for was photos (BTW- I'd include the serial number's first 3 after the letter designation). He's not being unrealistic!

This guy should be banned. His responses sound like there from a high school student. I bought a daytona, it was in a fire. WTF?

Get this guy out of here.

If he was really legit, He would have posted pics of the paper work in the first pic, along with the pics of papers he got from the auction he supposedly bought it from.

I vote for the ban.

Exactly. Pic showed lots of boxes, including a service box, but NO paperwork.

Ya, that was kinda odd from the beginning. His s/n is a little weird too. Its about hondas and thats prolly his age, but I dont think somone with 12 rolexs talks about there honda civic? I mean, if they own one, they wouldnt be putting it in there s/n on a rolex forum. ALl of it just seems weird to me. He can kiss everyones
