I second that, I had them do a couple of Rolexes for me, service is great and much faster then Rolex. They even give you back the old parts if anything was replaced in the boxes of the new original Rolex parts they used.
One piece was going a bit slow after a year, they took care of it without any questions. Highly recommend them. |

To the Rolex SC here in Melbourne. Customer service can be hit and miss. Sometimes we just drop it off at the ADs and they are happy to take care of sending the watch off for servicing (with us paying the cost of course).

Although I don't have a Rolex, I send my vintage watches to Dimitrie Vicovanu down at Masters Of Time in NYC for service.

I send my watch to the local watch maker down the road. He services my watch in about a week and if I have issues promptly fixes them.

Well I must say I have heard alot of negative comment about RSC here in Singapore. But my experience has been very good so far. I had my DSSD regulated under warranty took about 2 hours and they tested for water resistance also. I also took my LV Sub in for a complete service got it back within 2 weeks, they had estimated 1 month. It is running a constant +5 sec/day. I am very pleased. Back in the states I have a great "Rolex Certified Watchmaker" at my AD that I use when I'm there.

Day date service in Australia
Im in Oz for a year from the uk. Can anyone recommend a top quality service shop at a sensible price?
My Day Date needs serviced(it keeps stopping). Ive had it for many years and usually get it serviced in Scotland by the official agents, its a fixed price and takes a couple of months. Even then though it still catches time and goes about 5mns fast, HELP PLEASE!!! |

After getting less that desirable service via local techs, my latest service job was sent to Athens, Greece... Quite a distance from northern VA! I sent it across the pond with Tempoking, and am excited to see it come home!
Future jobs will be likely sent there if all goes well, and if I need to stay local (USA) it will be will Dallas RSC, or will try to Ridley for old stuff or member Rikki. I wish I had a local go to guy- but have yet to be "wow-ed".

I've used lots of different outfits over the past 39 years. The two that have done the most work, recently, are Manny Chamosa and Dallas Watch-- both not too far from me in the Dallas area.

I and many of my other obsessed watch fiends send ours to Jesse Hueg at JHFineWatches.com. He does superb work and is located in Albany NY.

Just took my 14 year old Rolex with a mainspring broken to Lukin's Watch and Clock Repair. Very impressed and looks brand new again!

I’ve used two places, both with very good results.
I had my 1988 GMT II (16760) serviced by Rolex in UK. This took a long time, but the price was not bad (but has since gone up considerably) and the result was just outstanding. Add to that the two year guarantee period, and the bomb-proof provenance of a factory service and I’d recommend it to anyone. For service on my wife’s Lady Date with bimetal Jubilee bracelet (6917) we chose Michael Young in Hong Kong. This choice was made really because, in addition to a service, the watch also required some fairly extensive bracelet work. We have had bracelet work done on this watch by Rolex UK, and it is expensive. So we decided to give Michael Young a try. His work was prompt, reasonably priced and nicely done. Again, I’d recommend him to anyone. |

Does anyone recommend someone in the UK to service a vintage Rolex? Ideally London.

RSC in New York! They did a good job on my 5512! My 16750 is there now for the Spa treatment. Should be back in around 5 weeks!
