Traveling in Europe

I am outside of Frankfurt Germany with a friend visiting his family.
We have some free time to travel. Obviously I’d like to visit Switzerland being the watch geek I am.
Any recommendations on where to go, what to see? Not limited to Switzerland either.
I have about 10 more days left on the trip, and don’t really have a budget or timeline in that duration.

Maybe check out the Alsace region of France on your way down. Should be a beautiful time of year there.

Of course I had to hit the 3 story Bucherer in Lucerne that of course has nothing for sale, except a hand full of ludicrous priced pre owned, that are exceptionally aged.

We are staying in Zurich tonight! Just got to the hotel a short bit ago, Lucerne was today, how incredible!!
Not incredible that I was only offered a WG skyD on oysterflex though .
Had to try my luck, but very much enjoyed everything about Lucerne.
Tomorrow is Interlaken/grindelwald/lauterbrunnen

Last trip I took to Europe was to Norway. Abosuletly beautiful, especially the Bergen area and fjord country.
