Apple iPhone 6 announcement today!

Are you ready for 1:00 EST? I've upgraded to just about every new iPhone release and will be upgrading from my 5S to the 6 (4.7" model), no doubt!

Rumors and specs...

How good it might be . . . . Samsung Note 3 (and pretty soon my Note 4) does the trick for me

Here what Samsung did this morning

Which of the phones do you guys like more, the 6 or the 6 Plus? I think the 6 Plus is too big. If you are a guy and keep your phone in your pants pocket, how could you ever comfortably fit a phone that big in there? My 56 is big enough- I actually wish they'd keep the screen the same size but make the phone thinner.

It's like watches... sure, a 48mm case makes the dial easier to read, but I'd much rather have a 40mm on the wrist.

Yes, I keep having to refresh safari and it's rather annoying. You'd think they would have this in order. I don't understand why they didn't simply release a 5 inch iPhone 6 and call it good. Maybe it was for easy app scaling.

it is not about the iWatch

It is about the stock going up, so we can buy another Rolex!

A brand new interface says Tim Cook.....Using crown to control a digital display....I'm sure my Breitling Aerospace did that about 15 years ago.

I'm impressed. The iWatch doesn't compete with mechanical watches, but I think it does add a new dimension to horology in general.

^^^ thanks for sharing the pics above. I can't see the live presentation.

Looks to be a much better wearable technology than the stupid google glass.

That's a strange comparison.

well, these are two wearable tech products. This is the one and only similarity.

A friend had a google glass on last Christmas party. You do not know really what is the use of it, apart from taking pictures of things around you. The product is pretty much 'on other people's face' and you keep talking to it out load. So, those are the reasons why I called it 'stupid'. Or in other words: useless IMHO. It is clear that google does not know why it created the product or its functionality.

On the other hand, the apple watch is promising as a watch and as a small interface for communications and short messages. So, it has potential as a wearable technology. :smoking:
