Sub(6-digit)/GMT(6-digit) experiment

Hello! I have an interest in purchasing a 6-digit sub, date or no-date. Before I go through with it, I would like to know if the GMT case back will fit on the Sub(don't see why it wouldn't). Not concerned about losing water resistance. I just prefer the low profile case back on the GMT and think that would make for a very svelte fitting Sub. The Sub case back is a deal breaker for me.

Anyone out there who owns both and would be willing to try this out and let me know would be doing me a great service! Would love to see photos!!

Good weekend to all!
