Vintage rolex perpetual

Hello everyone,

So I have this Rolex Oyster Perpetual Watch. Can anyone tell me what I'm looking at? Model, age, 14K?, is the band plated? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Charles

remove the bracelet and the model engraving should be on the lugs.

My guess is its a 65XX variation looking at the Rolex logo with waffle dial. Likely 34mm with 1030 caliber and 14K gold. If you can zone in on that engraving on the back near one of the lug legs, that might explain exactly the gold content. Bracelet looks gold plated rivet.

Going to guess 6567 and 14k. Bracelet may be plated from photos.

The bracelet was most likely plated after the fact. The factory gold plated bracelets usually have a big letter P on the end link or the word Apliqué stamped on the clasp tang. Someone probably plated the bracelet to go with the gold watch instead of acquiring a solid gold bracelet.

Was that last reply from an entity that might not have the requisite parts to truly appreciate a wristwatch? It reads like the typing mightn't've required a keyboard
