Jesse, the thing that I always think about when I look at the wonderful pics you post of your travels is that your boys have so many great family photos to look at as they get older. There are always great pics of all of you. My father was the photographer in our family, and my mother didn’t like having her picture taken, so there is a shortage of full-family pics. Your boys are so lucky, and the photos will mean so much to them.

Looks like a wonderful trip. I love the Riviera Maya. I’ve stayed at several resorts, and I’ve enjoyed every one. I’m thinking family scuba certification and a Cozumel trip is in order soon.

We were at the Royalton, one of Marriott's all-inclusives. It's not something we usually do, as I like to pick and choose where we eat, but I must say the restaurants were great and the alcohol was flowing nicely.

No turtles but we did see some barracuda and some other very colorful fish (I'm not a fisherman!). We also saw some rays swiming by in the shallow water.

The non-California folks don't know how bad we have it up here, Jay! Haha. A blistering 50 degrees in Monterey!

Thank you Kathleen! I usually like to set a timer / use selfies so we can all get in on the pictures, but I always appreciate the kind folks that are willing to take photos of us themselves.

Thanks Joey - I think that's something that will definitely be in the cards for us in the future (I've never gone scuba diving before!). Our boys are true adventurers and love the water and all that comes along with it - fish, sharks, etc. - so if I told them we'd be doing that, I think they would fly through the roof.
