"Vintage Tudor Prince Oysterdate Ranger" on Ebay? Thoughts?
Hey Folks, (First time posting here, yes I did some pre-searching/reading )
Looking for some thoughts/insights on a watch I'm checking out on eBay. Its a vintage Tudor Ranger...... so of course it's suspect. And it has red stuff on the dial!! I can't post links yet so you'll have to search for "Vintage Tudor Prince Oysterdate Ranger 2784 Swiss SS Steel Automatic Mens Watch" It clearly states that the dial is not original has been redone. So that part is at-least disclosed. It has red second markers on the face (I can't even find a similar picture for this) It's coming out of Hong Kong and it looks very clean... So besides the obvious dial, what's everyone's feelings? I requested pictures of case serial numbers and am waiting to hear back. Does the movement look correct? Am I missing any big red flags. For the price, I'd be OK if only the dial was replaced/redone. If the case and movement look good it wouldn't be too bad. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks! Patrick |
