Anyone here collect vintage Zenith Defy or Surf?

I've always admired the Defy and Surf lines and have casually kept an eye on certain references and what the market is doing. I finally found something on eBay that I figured I'd take a swing at. The seller had it listed for $450 or best offer and I offered $310 and they insta-accepted. $357 after taxes and shipping.

It's been "serviced" and has the original bracelet and a nice sharp case. Something that I find crucial with any watch, but especially these faceted case designs. The crown is not original and the crystal is badly in need of replacement, but I like it.

Anyone here have or have owned something similar? Really curious to know how these wear, they are only 35mm, but I suspect the integrated bracelet and thicker case adds some visual heft.
