I feel absolutely blessed, especially in these times, to be able to afford this dream for myself. I look forward to learning more about the Rolex history and heritage among great company here. Looks good on anyone. Such an iconic and beautiful watch...Congratulations Vanessa.

I got my first submariner just one day before covid19 madness took over and all AD closed here in Switzerland. I am loving this watch.

Congrats again to OP.

I have the same size wrist and wear mostly 40 mm. I do have a couple smaller ones but nothing under 36 mm.

Thank you very much! I love what I do and while it's scary, I would do it again. I work as an emergency department nurse and we've been the front door to anything at anytime.

I'm just looking forward to the days we can go back to our way of life prior to covid-19.

You guys are so welcoming and friendly, thank you again!

First and foremost thank you as well for your hard work and dedication for being in the front line of all this chaos ...... an ER nurse no less!!??

My wife was an ICU nurse and would be right there with the patients but isn't in that part of the medical field any more. Thank goodness!!!

Second of all ...... the Sub looks great in your wrist!! I also have a 6.5 inch wrist so your photo is a great visual for me albeit much less hairy than my wrist 🙂

Congratulations and enjoy wearing that beautiful piece!

Welcome to the Sub club! It's such a great watch, and I know how it feels to long for it for so long and finally have it. I'll be starting an accelerated nursing program soon over in the Naples/Ft Myers area. Glad to have you here.

Thank you for the kind words! Funny enough, I love ER nursing but could never imagine myself in ICU... it's intense up there! I have a high respect for floor/ICU nurses because I know firsthand how crazy it can get up there and nowadays (before covid), they were really overwhelming nurses with high patient to nurse ratios. Same in the ER, we were becoming floor nurses by holding admitted patients.

Despite all this, I told myself life is too short, just enjoy it while you can... and I had one opportunity prior to this to owning this watch but this time I took it.

Thank you! Nursing is awesome. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out. I haven't been out of school that long, actually felt like yesterday we were learning NG tube placements. Congratulations to you for pursuing a very fulfilling career!

Thank you as well. I just showed your comment to my wife and gave her shivers thinking back to the days in the ICU and I remember her coming home " beat up " often. Whether it was a code during her shift or a very difficult family that she had to deal with ....... made for trying times back then ...... cant even imagine how her coworkers are doing now!?!?

Glad you had this 2nd opportunity ........ as you know sometimes in life we do not have a 2nd chance but at least you did this time and took advantage of it!

Thank you for holding it down out there! I certainly will have some medical questions sooner or later, so that's kind of you. You're a welcome addition to the community.
