diam & movement

I should also have mentioned its diameter is 31mm excluding crown and movement is an ETA 2824-2..
The bezel is gold and my understanding is that it will be 18 k, can anyone comment on that please.

Tudor Rolex

Hi All

Just wondering if anyone can help me, I have aquired a Tudor Rolex and would like to find out if it is genuine firstly and if there is any info like date or what it maybe worth.

The strap has a Pat no on it, I think it is 717309 although it is very small and hard to read, it also has B&S Rolex on the strap with a hall mark, inside the rear casing it has B&S made for Rolex 409758, hallmark 9 375.

On the movement it has 17 Rubies and Swiss made.

I have tried to take some photos but they dont come out very well, I will try again if you think it will help.

Thanks for any help.

For Tudor Chrono

Model No. Approx S/N Range

71x9/0 ~ 77x,xxx to ~ 84x,xxx
94xx/0, 94xx0 ~ 87x,xxx to ~ 26x,xxx
791x0 ~ 27x,xxx to ~ B 63x,xxx
792x0, 792x0P ~ B 63x,xxx to ~ H 74x,xxx

For Tudor Sub

Model No. Approx S/N Range
7922,7924 ~ 24x,xxx to 29x,xxx (Possible as early as 140K)
7928,7928/0 ~ 30,xxx to 62x,xxx

76100 ~ 70,xxx to 22x,xxx
7x090 ~ 30x,xxx to B67x,xxx
7x190 ~ B 67x,xxx to H 14x,xxx

Some More Interesting Findings in Tudor Serial Numbers :

1. For 71x9/0 monte carlo, the only serial numbers I am able to collect started with 77x,xxx, 82x,xxx and 84x,xxx and not others. Still not sure if there are other serial numbers for the 71x9/0 monte carlo series.

2. For contemporary Tudor models, H serial is produced in parallel with O and J serial (J serial should O serial). That is, year of 2007 should correspond to H7 serial and also J1 serial. The recent issued Tudor Iconaut I have come across come with serial J18x,xxx.

3. Tudor reference number started to use "/" from serial number of 59x,xxx (e.g. 7016/0) and such "/" no longer existed in serial number of 89x,xxx (e.g. 94300).
My Tudor Sub (lollipop hour hand - Blue face and bezel) is a model 76100, and the SN is 76180. I thought it was around 1983/84 but now I'm confused based on your serial number dates

Tudor Oyster Prince Day Date

Hi,

Could I get some help from here?
I am looking to buy a 7020/0 with a serial number #2795XXX.
The serial number actually is 7 digits long.
I think it is an early 70s.

I have tried to read for some information here, but it seems quite hard to find.
What can you tell about this serial number? I thought its always 6 digits? Or 5?

Many thanks in adwance!

Should be 6 digits. Can you post photos of the serial / ref engravings in the Vintage section here?

I might be wrong but I am pretty sure that Tudor does not have 2 million serial ranges with the 7017/7020 Jumbos and I am pretty sure that is not a good font.

I strongly recommend that you take clear photos of the ref & serial sides - without the glare - so everything can be seen and post them here https://rolexforums.com/forumdisplay.php?f=32 in the vintage section so people can properly comment.

Based on what I see I have a lot of concerns which is why i think you really really need to post this in the vintage section, with clear photos of the entire watch in addition to the engravings, so people can properly comment.

I have just acquired a 76100 Sub. Serial number 1328xx. Doesn't seem to match up to the list here in terms of serial numbers but I think it's a 1984 model. Definitely genuine.

What do I have?

I think I have a tudor princess oyster and know nothing about it. The only numbers I can find are on the clasp and they are 6248 11 and M11. I think the model number is 92400

Mid size submariner 75090

I recently acquired a Tudor Submariner (midsize) 75090 with serial number B323xxx. Mine has the sapphire crystal, 36mm case, Rolex crown and case. I was trying to sort out where the serial number fit into the Tudor schema as I previously saw 75090 with a serial number B33xxxx. Any help would be appreciated!

A vintage Tudor Oysterdate came across my desk with a model number 90133 and a serial number 96xx16 placing manufacture in 1981. Can anybody shed light on this model?

Hello:

New member from BA - AR.

I'd like to add my information to this thread.

Tudor Prince Oysterdate
Model 7966/0
Serial nº 58163XX
ETA2484 Caliber
Date numbers in alternating black/red
Bracelet 78350/19 with 557 endlinks

Apparently manufactured in 1966 or 1967, there are no manufacture date markings inside.

It was purchased 12/1971 in Bridgetown, Barbados when I lived there.
It was a present from Dad after finishing 5th. form at Harrison College.

Original bracelet, endlinks and dial were replaced during service in BA around 1976.

Original dial had a black background with the Tudor shield, no numbers.

It's had some heavy use and the hack feature stopped working long ago so I decided to send it in for a complete service ($$$ !) as apparently the last time was in 1995.

Cheers.

JHM

Firstly thank you for the serial number database, it proved invaluable for dating a Tudor Oyster that has been knocking around in a drawer. But I have a suggestion. For the database would it be possible to put the dates of landmarks in differences?

I've done extensive searches on images and found that in 1959 case numbers were on the case back and the 1960 Oyster case I have is marked between the lugs, in 1961 there are many examples of "between the lugs" numbering. So to me as a total amateur, it appears that between 1959-1960 Rolex changed stamping model/ serial numbers to between the lugs and I wondered if there was a date on this.

Tudor 79260
Oysterdate Chrono
Serial B858xxx
Papers dated July 2000, so it must've sat for a while. Has Oysterdate dial, Rolex signed crown and Rolex signed caseback so probably 1997.
