I am from SoCal but been living on East Coast for last 12 years. From Huntington Beach until mid 90's then moved to Redondo Beach. Most of family in Cardiff By the Sea in North County SD. Home sick especially come winter time here - something I never get used to!

We are moving to La Jolla next month, assuming our home sale goes through. We went on vacation there last year and fell in love.

There is an AD called Ben Bridge that has magical powers and will draw you in. Hang on to your wallet or you will leave broke.

Lots of nice people and nice watches in SoCal. Can't wait to make the move.

John- Great to hear! Best of luck with the sale of you home. PM me when you get to town. I'd like to meet up and show you around. Wife and I lived in the Village of LJ for a few years. It is awesome to park your car for the weekend and walk everywhere..

Will do. House sales are slow and agonizing. It is taking forever. Then we fly to San Diego to buy a new house - a condo near the water.

Take him up to Torrey Pines too, great for hiking. Also, the Gliderport is where I like to hangout and fly rc sailplanes, great views there...

I know the area, FYI. My mother used to live on Coronado. My doctor will be in Torrey Pines Scrips. I love Del Mar, too. Can't hardly wait.

I was drawn in a month ago to buy my DSSD D-Blue from Josephine. Somehow managed to purchase just one watch. Very nice AD indeed.

Oh, born and raised in Glendale, but now live closer to Pasadena.

Nice. EBJ is still there. Am in the Hollywood Riviera area. Trying to move to PVE/RHE but family feels too far away from the metro areas.

Where do you live now? I spent 5 years in NYC getting my MBA and working at a hedge fund but missed L.A. too much.

What da heck are you doing in Pittsburgh? Best friend lived there for over 10 years and finally decided to move back to the Southbay. He got tired of the cold and shoveling snow.

Me! El Cajon but Tokyo for the last 17.
Tried to live in Los Angeles for a few years but could never get used to the way they put rice and beans in their carne asana burritos. People get shot for doing that in SD.

You didn't think to ask for them for rice and beans on the side?

Born and raised in Irvine/Newport Beach area. Just moved to San Juan Capistrano in July. Work in La Jolla. Love SoCal and couldn't imagine living anywhere else.

We are at around the same latitudinal level as the Mediterranean like the south of France and Italy, which means we are ideally distanced from the sun. Weather is as good as it gets year round. But a lot cheaper to live here.
