Great thread. Thanks for giving us all insight to your life. It’s waaaaayyyy more exciting than mine which looks like yours except replace all the activity with meetings, lol. It’s awesome to see people wearing it for everything. I like that hog picture cause my AD laughs that I wear my explorer to hunt then field dress deer. Keep sharing.

Does the 16613 have easylink on the bracelet, or any diving system to quick adjust the size?

I contributed with my next watch, which will be my holy grail. I wish, like you, to write its history notwithstanding its price, its metal or the fact that a gshock would do the job!
Looking forward to seeing pics of you enjoying your watch!!

Lol, thanks for the kind words.

I go back through and think my life is kind of boring. I guess it’s all about perspective and which side of the window you’re on.

I get my fair share of meetings too unfortunately.

If you’re talking about the beagle, she’s my buddies puppy. I’m just her crazy uncle that comes by on occasion. She good from what I’ve heard though.

My old man dog (still a puppy to me though) is doing well and living his best life.

Safe around hunting dogs
Still safe making new friends

No issues helping build a Habitat for Humanity house

Works for exploring museums

Still capable for a quick lunch at a waterfront bar

You guys already know this one

A round of golf didn’t phase it a bit

Looks great in the woods

Goes well with snake boots too

The bluesy has adventures everyday, I’ve just stopped taking pictures. It appeared this thread had run its course so I stopped posting.

It’s not lost or gained a noticeable amount (a minute) since I changed the time at time change. I don’t pay enough attention to worry about a second here or there so I don’t know if it's lost or gained some seconds.

I had it serviced in 2022 after two years of ownership. It had never been serviced the 23 yrs prior to that according to Rik.

I somehow missed the original posting of this thread, but huge congrats on your watch. And many thanks for chronicling your story. Yours is literally a true-life 'Tough as Nails' adventure (with apologies to the show on CBS, lol.) It makes me super-happy to be a 16613LB owner, too. In 2012, I picked up this mid-'90s U-serial Bluesy from a member here on TRF. He had just had it serviced in 2012 by the RSC in Dallas. Thanks again for all the amazing pics! It's an absolutely fantastic journey that you've shared with all of us.

Still safe around alligators and playing golf
Safe while riding motorcycles
Safe to let your single buddy wear while out drinking because he thought it’d help him impress chicks

Safe enjoying the beautiful beaches of LBK
Didn’t get messed up comparing my dogs paw print to my hand
Can hang around ships with ease

Adventures of a Bluesy

It didn’t have any problems teaching my brothers girlfriend to drive the deuce
Or while loading a heavy old chain
Dog paws and licks make the best memories
