Where can I try on a Rolex Daytona

Hi All,

I am trying to find a local AD or reseller in my area (LA county) that would allow me to try on an 116519LN or 116515LN (Daytona WG/RG on OF). I travel for work and so far I have only seen an exhibition YG Daytona on OF at the AD in FRA, but was not able to try it on due to time. I have asked at other ADs as well but they just say sorry, nothing to even to try on, which does make sense since I am just walking off the street.

I know I will have to go gray if I want this watch. I am fine with buying from a trusted dealer, but feel weird shelling out ~45k USD w/o trying on the watch beforehand.

Any recommendations in the area would be appreciated!

Weight and feel are the same, so you're all set

You’ll find and can then try quite a number of them at the greys.

When there's 100 or 200 thousand people who want one they are incredibly scarce.

Nonsense. There might be a considerable amount of people wanting them at MSRP but at grey prices there isn't. Otherwise these would all be sold and quickly.

Too bad you’re not in New York. Almost every window on 47th St had Daytonas on OF.

Given the price, if you find one you want from a good secondary dealer, you could always fly there to see it and get it in person. If I was spending that much on a watch, I'd personally probably make it into a day trip or a weekend trip.

I had the same problem.
But cut off a catalog the gold Daytona I wanted
Placed the picture on my wrist…it looked kind of big…and decided against it.

You can try Bob’s watches in Newport Beach. You may want to call first.

There is also a grey dealer at Fashion Island called Euro Collective.

downtown LA has about 4-5 greys that have lots of watches. 1 with a window display has all the heavy hitter timepieces and always has an OF daytona in stock to try on.
