Should I?

Thinking of selling or trading my 116515 on leather strap (chocolate brown/arabics dial) and thinking about a day date 40mm in YG or RG. Thoughts on this? Trade value?
What do you think , should I do it?

I am not a big Daytona fan myself, so I would. The RG DD with olive dial is beautiful.

Yes, I'd do it. Not a Daytona fan by any stretch of the imagination.

The switch to a PM bracelet is so worth it. You will probably have to add some cash though I would imagine

Another vote for YES on the DD, not a fan of Daytona, I don't think the value difference should be much but I haven't analyzed it.

Some cash expected in the trade as my Daytona is on the leather strap. What's a fair amount?

Depends on which one. The RG/olive is currently fetching the highest premium. The YG variants you can probably get away with adding a few grand depending on condition.

Probably going with a YG but would consider RG but not first choice.

I would trade it but simply because I would be trading a strap model for a full bracelet model.

Get the YG my man.

If you want a clean crisp look the white dial is unbeatable. Its a true classic and it will last your entire life.

If you want a bit more pizaz to the dial have a look at the silver motif or silver romans depending if you want lume or not. The lume can be actually very useful for me anyway
