Poll: 126610LV Cermit/Starbucks fans...Mk1 or Mk2 bezel?

Which 126610LV bezel do you prefer...Mk1 or Mk2? Personally, I prefer the deeper and darker Mk1, but I think I'm in the minority by a large margin. If you prefer the Mk2, is it because it's more true to the original 16610LV Kermit, or the lighter, brighter shade of yellow green?

I think the results may be slightly skewed.
I voted Mk1 as that is what I have, and have not seen a MK2 in person, which may be the case for many.

I own the mk1 and have compared them both side by side. Even though the mk2 is a closer match to the original Kermit, I don’t like it as much. I like how the mk1 has a darker, more subdued green color. Almost a little more in color if that makes sense. If you’re looking at them from a picture the mk1 looks a little flat but in the person it’s a great shade of green. With that said they’re both great looking watches and you can’t go wrong with either!

Just got the II and was able to compare. Like the II better but would have been happy with the I.

The II looks better in natural light.

Should have included a third option: I like the MK2, but I'm biased because I own the MK1.

Mk1 = Starbucks = murky green
Mk2 = Kermit = vibrant green

I prefer and vote Mk2.

The most recent green color variant is much closer to the original 50th anniversary LV. So that’s the one I got.

Mk1 is the OG 126610LV, so that’s my vote.

Which ever is closest to the green that Rolex use in their logo. I think it's MK1? I dunno.

I own 116610LV and 126610LV Mk2 and much prefer the bezel color of the Mk2.

I prefer the subtelty of Mk 1. I did own a Kermit and I didn't remember the bezel I had as being as bright as the Mk 2.

I'm not sure Rolex didn't change the bezel (of Kermit) during its lifetime?

Having the original Kermit and the Hulk…I much prefer the mark II over the I.

Mark I IS Rolex green. Mark II is not. That’s why I prefer the Mark I.

MK1. It's the one I own but if I was presented with both, I would still choose MK1.
I prefer the deeper, richer green.

Only seen the M1 in my hands but prefer the M2. As soon as I saw the M1 it was a big disappointment after wanting a true Kermit replica in ceramic. Why? Only way I can explain is it lacked the pop and warmth that the more zesty predecessor had.

Anyone who says one of them is more “versitle” is talking rubbish. Either option is a green bezel, and they are both going to present the same in an accessory sense.
Anyone who still owns a M1 is going have potential confirmation bias.
Anyone who tries to justify on what matches what isn’t buying the watch for personal taste.

Pick the one you instinctively prefer.

I’m surprised. I thought that it would be mk 1 buy a runaway, just from the initial forum reports.

It's been reported on the net there is now a MK 3 followed shortly by a MK 4 or 5.

It really is a personal preference. To the naked eye they look so similar, I don't have the best eyesight and can only tell the subtle differences up close and in the right lighting. You can't go wrong with either. They are both beautiful!
