www.clockmaker.com.au harassment tactics

Just to let everyone know that Nicholas hacko otherwise known as clockmaker.com.au has resorted to harassment tactics by sending emails to very senior lawyers in my profession in an attempt to discredit me and prevent me expressing my honestly held opinion.

Dear Mr. SS,

Please be reminded that Australian jurisdictions allow legal actions,
civil and/or criminal, to deter various kinds of defamation and to retaliate against groundless criticism.

Despite the request made to you some 18 months ago, you continue to
use your privilege as the Rolexforums owner and moderator to
publicly post and perpetuate malicious, false and defamatory statements
in regard to our business.

Since we are not members of your forum, once again, we kindly ask
that you stop making any comments - positive or negative- in relation to
our business.

Thank you kindly.

N. Hacko,
Sydney
Just another reason why I would recommend anyone thinking of having anything to do with him............don't.

P.S. Stalking is a criminal offence and that includes seeking to procure third parties to engage in like activity.

Thanks Steve. I've never considered Nick Hacko anyway. His prices are extraordinarily high :-)

Now that is rich. Looks like they don't want anyone knowing anything, or asking any questions about their business.

If members have had problems with Nicholas Hacko, www.clockmaker.com.au then they should be allowed to air their views.

I know that many members view him as an egotistical waste of space with all his rude rebukes to them but Mr Hacko did imply that they should be glad to be in such company as his.

It takes all sorts I guess.

Wow. They had better come with a LOT of money. Cause there are literally thousands of site that post reviews on companies. Yelp, ALL Rolex forum websites, ect. That's a lot of litigation.
BTW, if you open a business & can't handle criticism then either you have to get thicker skin or get the heck out of your business. Because ALL your life you'll either be praised or critisized. Grow up man!

I dont understand. From what I have seen you unrightly stated that he was " mo*** as a ch**d " In my opinion that is giving enough "hate" for someone to be offended enough to send that letter.
I know Nick well enough to inform you that he was not ***, and certainly does not carry attitudes of a person that was.
Either way, using the internet, an anonymous form of communication, to bring a respected second hand dealer's reputation down, is just plainly not on.

Josh.

are you in some way related to mr hacko?

it is evident that nick is somewhat childish in his behaviour, and that was the reason why he got banned.

Thanks to bluetwotone for reviving this old thread so I know who Nick Hacko is and why I won't deal with him.

Thanks!

Hi all,

I'm a relatively new watch (Rolex) collector and new to this forum. Wow I just came across this post! I'm a recent customer of Nick and have just bought 3 Rolexes from him. I know that this is a very old post, to save me from digging around the forum, can somebody give me an executive summary about what had happen and why he was banned from this forum.

Is bluetwotone Nick Hacko's son? I have no evidence but it's an interesting conspiracy theory. The kid is Josh Hacko.
